how to get the width and height of a string in java

String text = "Hello World";
Font font = new Font("Arial", Font.PLAIN, 12);
FontRenderContext frc = new FontRenderContext(new AffineTransform(), true, true);

int textwidth = (int)(font.getStringBounds(text, frc).getWidth());
