Python programming language was created by Guido van Rossum, and first released
on February 20, 1991. While you may know the python as a large snake, the name
of the Python programming language comes from an old BBC television comedy
sketch series called Monty Python's Flying Circus.when was python created

Python was conceived in the late 1980s by Guido van Rossum at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands as a successor to the ABC language (itself inspired by SETL), capable of exception handling and interfacing with the Amoeba operating system.
