How can I get terminal output in python

There is a bug in using of the subprocess.PIPE. For the huge output use this:
import subprocess
import tempfile
with tempfile.TemporaryFile() as tempf:
proc = subprocess.Popen(['echo', 'a', 'b'], stdout=tempf)
proc.wait()
tempf.seek(0)
print tempf.read()python run command and read output
#!/usr/bin/python
import subprocess, sys
## command to run - tcp only ##
cmd = "/usr/sbin/netstat -p tcp -f inet"
## run it ##
p = subprocess.Popen(cmd, shell=True, stderr=subprocess.PIPE)
## But do not wait till netstat finish, start displaying output immediately ##
