return my_dict = {i:MyList.count(i) for i in MyList}
# returns :
{'a': 3, 'c': 3, 'b': 1}
# OR
from collections import Counter
return my_dict = dict(Counter(MyList))
# returns :
{'a': 3, 'c': 3, 'b': 1}
