my django template doesnt want to load the static file

STATIC_URL = '/static/'
STATIC_ROOT = os.path.join(BASE_DIR, "/static/")

STATICFILES_DIRS = ( 
    STATIC_ROOT,        
)

    BASE_DIR / "static",
    '/var/www/static/',
]
