git reset to commit
# reset to specefic commit
git reset --hard <commit id>
# to go back one step
git reset --hard HEAD~1
# note: use --soft to keep file changesgit reset to commit

git reset --hard HEAD~1
# note: use --soft to keep file changesgit lost commit after reset
git reflog is your friend.
Find the commit that you want to be on in that list and you can reset to it
for example:git reset --hard e870e41
