push a local branch
Create a new branch:
git checkout -b feature_branch_name
Edit, add and commit your files.
Push your branch to the remote repository:
git push -u origin feature_branch_name
git push in a new branch
git checkout -b <branch>
git add .
git commit -m "comment"
git push -u origin <branch>
git push origin current branch
git push origin HEAD
A handy way to push the current branch to the same name on the remote.
# To set upstream tracking information in the local branch,
# if you haven't already pushed to the origin.
git push -u origin HEAD
Push your branch up to the remote.
$ git push <remote> <branch>
